Q1 What are the advantages of the lens exclusive for digital imaging? TOP
A1 Please see the following features:
  1. Designed exclusively for digital imaging which the image pickup catches lights in perpendicular angle to capture the excellent quality of digital image.
  2. Twice the quality of resolution comparing with the one in a 35mm film camera.
  3. Brighter, lighter and smaller lens than the one in a 35mm film camera.

Q2 Is the lens waterproof? TOP
A2 No, however, it is dust-and-drip proof as well as the main unit of the camera. Please note the proof works when the lens is mounted to the main unit.

A3 Yes, we aim to expand the E-system.

Q4 What are the features of the respective lenses? TOP
A4 Please see the following features:
  1. ZUIKO DIGITAL 50mm ED F2 MACRO
    • Despite of its reduced size, the brightness is equivalent to F2.
    • 0.52x is the maximum image magnification, equivalent to a 35mm film camera.
    • Capable of focusing up to the coverage of 33.3mm X 25mm of the subject in full-size screen by letting the image pickup closer up to the distance of 24cm from the image sensor.
  2. ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm F2.8-3.5
    • 3-aspherical lens elements achieve compact size yet bring a superb image quality.
  3. ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50-200mm F2.8-3.5
    • A super telephoto zoom lens in the range of 100 to 400mm equivalent to 35mm film camera yet brings F2.8-3.5 brightness.
    • Uses 3 extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses to minimize chromatic aberration.
  4. ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm F2.8
    • An ultra-high power telephoto lens with a focal length equivalent to 600mm on a 35mm film camera, but lighter and more compact than competing 600mm lenses.
    • Uses extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses for optimum picture quality.
    • Neutral, ND4, ND8, and polarizing inner filters come with the 300mm Lens as standard equipment.

Q5 Which lens can I use with the tele converter: EC-14? TOP
A5 Please see the following for the applicable lenses:
