That once-in-a-lifetime blue is about to fly away now.

When you approach a fulgorid bug, it jumps up with amazing speed, before spreading its wings and flying away. At that instant, you can see its beautiful and impressive lower wings. It probably opens its wings to startle enemies when danger approaches. But in the next instant, it is gone.
I wanted to capture that scene very badly, and tried many times. This photo shows the shot that I finally got. My success was probably thanks in no small part to the extremely small time lag of the E-1.
I spent over 3 weeks shooting in the extremely humid tropical rainforests of Borneo, but thanks to the E-1's dust and water-resistant body and lens, not once did my lens cloud over. The E-1 performed for me like a champ throughout my shoot. The Dust Reduction System is also fantastic. I really trust this camera.
