Born 1950. Has produced over 300 photo collections, mainly featuring actors, actresses, TV personalities and idols. Now involved in a wide range of activities including photography for magazine covers, judging photo contests, TOKYO FM BS digital broadcasting, mobile phone content distribution service, TV commentary, and the year before last directing a film. Member of the Japan Advertising Photographers' Association, Japan Professional Photographers Society. The ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54 mm lets you take very close-up pictures, without switching to macro mode or attaching a close-up lens. In other words, you can take close-ups without any wasted motion. Even with the zoom lens the F value is quite bright, making this camera very handy for portrait shots. This makes shooting proceed very smoothly. The camera fits perfectly in my hand. The E-1 is the perfect size and weight for professional use. I often shoot on the coast or the beach, where there are strong winds, so I'm very careful about dust. I have to clean the lens that night for shoots the next day, but thanks to this Dust Reduction System, from now on I'll be able to get a good night's sleep on location!
