Born 1950. Has produced over 300 photo collections, mainly featuring actors, actresses, TV personalities and idols. Now involved in a wide range of activities including photography for magazine covers, judging photo contests, TOKYO FM BS digital broadcasting, mobile phone content distribution service, TV commentary, and the year before last directing a film. Member of the Japan Advertising Photographers' Association, Japan Professional Photographers Society. Surprisingly often, portrait photos are taken from up close. One of the attractions of the ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54 mm F/2.8-3.5 is that you can get right up close to your subject. The F value is also quite bright, making this a very handy lens for portrait shots. But what really puts me at ease is the Dust Reduction System. Since I often shoot outdoors, this system gives me peace of mind when changing lenses. No more worries about dust and debris getting on my photos. The body also has just the right size and weight - perfect for professional use.
