Dust clinging caused by static charge.
Small particles of dust can cling due to molecular attraction, which can be removed by the strong vibrations caused by the SSWF.
- Ex.1) Metallic particles caused by mechanical abrasion within the shutter and other internal parts.
- Ex.2) Fine pollen from cedar trees.
* Large pollen particles from lily flowers etc. include a viscous fluid which cannot be completely removed.
* Viscous particles cannot be completely removed by the Super Sonic Wave Filter (SSWF). Dust particles themselves may be removable by ultrasonic waves, but complete removal requires higher energy. In such a case, the surface must be washed. However, it is quite rare for a viscous fluid to reach the camera's imaging sensor.
Ex.) Rain, saliva and other viscous fluids.
